Today is June 15th and that means that a new challenge starts today on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. The theme for this challenge is Summer Time Fun
Here is my card for the Summer Time Fun Challenge:
Ingredients:
Impression Obsession Sea Birds
Water color paper
Neenah Desert Storm paper
Brown paper
White paper
Sand paper
Green paper
Gray marker
Salty Ocean distress oxide
Tumbled Glass distress oxide
For this A2 card I started by making the base of the card with a piece of Neenah Desert Storm paper. I took a piece of watercolor paper, Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass distress oxides and blended them onto the paper with my blending brushes, spritzed it with water and dried it with my heat tool, inked the edges with Salty Ocean distress ink and then added that to the card base. I took the Sand paper and tore it using my Tearing Tool and added that to the bottom of the card. I took some Brown and Green paper and cut out the Palm trees and added them to the card. I took some White paper and cut out the Sea Gulls and the Hammock and added them to the card.
