Lantana Spreading Pixie Dust

 Hello Fairy Loving Friends!!

Lantana is out spreading Pixie Dust around all the flowers to help them to grow!  She loves to see the flowers!

Ingredients:

Fairy Hugs Lantana

Fairy Hugs Lantern Tree

Fairy Hugs Fern Leaves

Fairy Hugs Whimsical Flower Cluster

Fairy Hugs Glitter Powder Ocean

Black ink

Quickie Glue Roller Pen

Green Paint Pen

Brown Paint Pen

Salvaged Patina distress oxide

Salty Ocean distress oxide

Peacock Feathers distress oxide

Blue card stock

Watercolor paper

Believe word die

White Glitter fun foam

For this A2 card I started with a piece of Watercolor paper and some distress oxides:  Salvaged Patina, Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers.  I put the inks onto my gel press and spritzed with water and than place my watercolor paper and top of the gel plate and pressed down.  I took Black ink and the Fairy Hugs Lantern Tree and stamped that along the edge of watercolor paper and colored it in with a Brown Paint Pen.  I took Fairy Hugs Lantana and stamped her off the edge of the paper with Black ink.  I stamped the Fairy Hugs Fern Leaves with Black ink and colored that in with a Green Paint Pen.  I took the Fairy Hugs Whimsical Flower Cluster and stamped that along the bottom of the paper with Black ink.  I took my Quickie Glue Roller pen and filled in Lantana's wings, the flower dots and the pixie dust she is sprinkling on the flowers and then I sprinkled some Fairy Hugs Ocean Glitter Powder that over the flowers and Lantana's wings.  I took the White Glitter fun foam and the Believe word die and cut that out and added it to the card.

Lavinia World Challenge #20

Hello Lavinia World Friends!!

Today is the start of a new challenge on the Lavinia World Challenge Blog:

Lavinia World Challenge #20

Ingredients:

Spiral of Spells stamp

Chasing Dreams stamp

Fairy Bugs stamps

White card stock

White paper with purple speckles

Vellum paper

VersaFine Clair Purple Delight ink

Black ink

Clear embossing powder

Light Prawn Copic

Crystal Stickles

For this A2 card I started with White card stock to make the the base of the card.  I took a piece of White paper with purple speckles, inked the edges with VersaFine Clair Purple Delight ink and attached that to the card base.  I took the Spiral of Spells stamp and the VersaFine Clair Purple Delight ink and stamped that onto another piece of White paper with purple speckles.  I sprinkled some Clear embossing powder on the paper and then heat embossed it.  I took a piece of Vellum paper, the Chasing Dreams stamp and some Black ink and stamped that onto the Vellum.  I heat embossed that with Clear embossing powder.  I took my Light Prawn Copic marker and colored the snail on the back side of the Vellum paper.  I took some Crystal Stickles and put them on the fairy's wings and on the snail.  When the Stickles were dry I fussy cut out the fairy and snail, ran it through my Xyron machine and placed that in the center of the Sprial Spells.  I took the stars from the Fairy Bugs stamp set, VersaFine Clair Purple Delight ink and then heat embossed it with Clear embossing powder.

The theme for Lavinia World Challenges is always "Anything Goes" using a stamped image (sorry no digi stamps, but rather rubber or clear stamps are perfect).  The winner will receive a $15 Gift Certificate to Lavinia World.

Turner Syndrome Awareness ~ You Are Beautiful

Spiced Marmalade distress oxide

Squeezed Lemonade distress oxide

For this A2 card I started by making the base of the card with White card stock.  I took a piece of Watercolor paper, the distress oxides and my blending brushes and added the different colors onto the paper, overlapping them as I went along.  I took some Black ink and the Moments Like Theses, Forest Spruce, Snow Shrub stamps and stamped them onto the paper.  I took some Black ink and inked around the edges and added it to the card base and I stamped the sentiment with Black ink. I took some Green gems and placed them onto the card.

Ken Oliver Color Bursts

Neenah Desert Storm paper

Watercolor paper

Black ink 

For this A2 card I started by making the base of the card with a piece of Neenah Desert Storm paper.  I took a piece of Watercolor paper and wet it down with my spritz bottle and then I took some Ken Oliver Color Bursts and sprinkled them on top of the wet paper and then dried it with my heat gun.  I spritzed more water onto the paper until I got the colors I wanted.  I took some Black ink and the Druid Inn stamp and stamped that onto the paper.  I stamped the Fairy Foragers and the Let Your Spirit Take Flight stamps onto the paper too and then I attached that to the card base.
