Scrapy Land Challenge #129

Hello Blogging Friends!!

Happy New Year!!  I hope 2020 brings everyone love, laughter and good health!!

Along with today being the 1st day of 2020 it is also the start of a new challenge on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog ~ Scrapy Land Challenge #129

Here is my card:

Ingredients:

Serendipity Hello die
White card stock
Aqua woodgrain paper
Evergreen paper
White paper
Brown paper
Evergreen Bough distress ink
Copic markers

For this A2 card I started with White card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of Aqua woodgrain paper, inked the edges with Evergreen Bough distress ink and added that to the card base.
I took the Tutti Designs Cardinal Spring Wreath and some White and Green paper and cut out the die twice.  I know the bird is supposed to be a Cardinal, but I love the little Chickadees that come to my feeders so I decided to color it as a Chickadee with my Copic markers.  I attached the colored Chickadee to the green cut.  I then cut off White berries from the white cut and added them on top of the berries on the green cut and then I added it to my card.  I took some Brown paper and the Serendipity Hello die and cut out Hello and added that to the top of the card.

Here is a picture of one of the chickadees that come to my feeder:

So now you can see where I got my idea for coloring the bird into a Chickadee!

Scrapy Land carries over 55 brands of dies, so chances are you have a few of the brands in your stash!  You can see all the brands carried under the Products category.

Please link back to this Scrapy Land Challenge and include the link to this challenge on your blog post.  It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project.  (Sometimes we can't tell if an item is a die cut or chipboard.)

Be sure to hop on over to the Scrapy Land Challenge #129 and see what the Design Team have made to inspire you!

Now it is your turn to create something for this challenge!  You have until January 12, 2020 to join in on the Scrapy Land Challenge fun and have a chance of winning a $15 gift certificate to Scrapy Land.

Thanks for stopping by!
