Scrapy Land Challenge #123

Hello Blogging Friends,

Today is the start of a new challenge on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog ~

Scrapy Land Challenge #123

The winner will be chosen by random.org and the Designers will still chose the Top Three and the Honorable Mentions.

Scrapy Land carries over 55 brands of dies, so chances are you have a few of the brands in your stash!  You can see all the brands carried under the Products category.

Please link back to this Scrapy Land Challenge and include the link to this challenge on your blog post.  It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project.  (Sometimes we can't tell if an item is a die cut or chipboard.)

Here is my card:

Ingredients:

Lawn Fawn Leaves dies

Lemoncraft Grow Old With Me 6 x 6 paper
Black ink
Ranger Distress Watercolor card stock
Wild Honey distress oxide
Fossilized Amber distress oxide
Gold paper
Brown paper
Orange paper
Spiced Marmalade distress oxide
Rusty Hinge distress oxide

Kraft card stock

Sentiment stamp

For this 6 inch by 6 inch card I started with Kraft card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of Lemoncraft Grow Old With Me 6 by 6 paper, tore the edges with a deckle ruler and added that to the base of the card.  I took a piece of Ranger Distress Watercolor paper, my blending brushes and these distress oxides:  Wild Honey, Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade and Rusty Hinge.  I added them randomly onto the paper and then spritzed the paper with water and dried it with my heat tool.  I took the Lawn Fawn Leaves die and cut out the leaves.  I also took some Gold, Brown and Orange paper and cut the paper out with the Lawn Fawn leaves.  I arranged the leaves die cut into a wreath.  I took some black ink and the sentiment stamp and stamped it in the middle of the wreath.  One of my favorite things about the Fall is the beautifully colored leaves!  So I just had to make a project with colorful leaves.

Be sure to hop on over to the Scrapy Land Challenge #123 and see what the Design Team have made to inspire you.

Now it is your turn to create something for this challenge.  You have until October 13th to join in on the Scrapy Land Challenge fun and have a chance of winning one of two $10 gift certificates to Scrapy Land.

Thanks for stopping by!!

  3. Love your wreath of leaves. So beautiful! We're suppose to only get up to 67 degrees tomorrow so I think I'll finally feel like maybe there's some fall weather out there.
