Peace On Earth Christmas Challenge #32

Hello Christmas Lovers!!

Today is the start of a new Christmas Challenge over on the year round Peace On Earth Christmas Challenge Blog ~ POE Challenge #32.

Here is my card for POE Challenge #32:

Ingredients:

Spellbinders Build a Winter Birdhouse die

Bird die

Black printed paper

Red paper

Black paper

Gray paper

White glitter paper

Green paper

White paper

White card stock

Red, White and Green Bakers Twine

For this card I started by making the A2 card base with White card stock.  I took the Black printed paper and added that to the card.  I took the Spellbinders Build a Winter Birdhouse and Red, Black, and Gray paper and cut out the pieces to the birdhouse and put it together and added it to the card.  I took some White glitter paper and cut out the snow and added that to the birdhouse.  I took the Green paper and cut out the holly leaves and the mistletoe and added that to the bird house.  I took the bird die and cut out the bird and added that to the birdhouse ledge.  I took the Red, White and Green Bakers Twine and made a bow and added it to the top of the birdhouse.  I was inspired by the Inspiration Board below.

Please be sure to hop on over to the Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge to see what the Design Team have created and than it is your turn to create Anything Christmas for this challenge!  We can't wait to see what you create for this challenge!!

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Beautiful card Lori, love it!! I have had my eye on this birdhouse die myself and just might have to cave lol!! Love the fun bird with his scarf too, as cold as it is here they certainly could all use a scarf in my neck of the woods lol!!

  3. What a wonderful take on the birdhouse photo on our inspiration board! I love the way all of us on the POE DT used birds on our cards this time - one of my favourite themes for Christmas cards. Your fabulous die cut creation is beautiful against the dark decorative paper!

  4. I don't know how you do it, Lori - always putting together a beautiful scene with the tiniest of die cut pieces placed just perfectly - and the background paper is lovely! Crafting Smiles,
