Lasting Memories Layout Challenge #617 ~ Out of Your Comfort Zone ~ Embellishments

Hello Scrapbooking Friends!!

Today is the start of a new challenge over on the Lasting Memories Layout Challenge Blog.  We all have our own scrapbook style.  We tend o repeat certain elements, colors and even layout designs.  For the month of September let's move out of our comfort zones!  These challenges won't be too specific because each person will need to evaluate their own scrapbooking and do something different from their typical layouts.

This weeks challenge is to use embellishments ~ we tend to stick to the same embellishments on our layouts.  Perhaps you use mostly stickers and chipboard but rarely use wood veneer.  Maybe you are obsessed with enamel dots and don't use flair or washi tape.  For this week, choose embellishments that you rarely use.

Here is my layout for LM Challenge #617:

Ingredients:

Dog Toy die cuts
Washi Tape

This layout is of my daughter's dog, Scooby.  I buy Washi Tape, but a very rarely use it, I am never quite sure how to use it.  For this layout I used it around the edge of the page.

Now hop on over to the Lasting Memories Challenge Blog to see what the Design Team have created for this challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!!

  1. CUTE dog and love your page Lori. I'm one that always buys the tape too - and never uses it. It looks great on here and love the idea of using it around the page.
