Dies R Us Challenge #195 ~ Dads/Masculine

  Hello Blogging Friends,

Today is June 15th and that means that today is the start of a new challenge over on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog ~ DRU #195 ~ Dads/Masculine.

Here is my card for DRU #195:

Ingredients:

Neenah Solar White paper
White card stock
Black paper
Grey paper
Silver paper
Spellbinders embossing folder
Salvaged Patina distress oxide
Seas the Day stamp
Black ink

For this A2 card I made the base with White card stock.  I took a piece of Neenah Solar White paper and Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon distress oxide and my blending brushes and added the inks to the paper and then spritzed it with water and dried it with my heat gun.  When it was dry I ran it through my Big Shot with the Spellbinder embossing folder, inked the edges with Salvaged Patina distress oxide and added it to the card base.  I took the Impression Obsession Whales die and a piece of Black paper and a piece of Grey paper and I cut out the Whales in each color and then pieced them together and added it to the card.  I took Memory Box Sea Creatures dies and cut out the two Sting Rays with Silver paper and added them to the card.  I stamped the Seas the Day stamp with Black ink onto White paper and cut it out Scalloped scissors and inked the edges with Salvaged Patina and Black ink, put some foam squares on the back and added it to the card.

Don't forget to check our Sister Store in Canada with warehouses in USA & Canada called Didi Crafts.

I hope you will come and join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.
