Hello Blogging Friends,
Today is May 15th and that means it is time for a new challenge to start over on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog ~ DRU Challenge #193 with a theme of Anything Goes.
Here is my card for DRU Challenge #193:
Ingredients:
Spellbinders Cheers stamp and die set (no longer available)
Neenah Desert Storm paper
Purple paper
Lavender Shimmer paper
Black ink
Copic markers
Distress Oxide Dusty Concord
Purple and White Bakers Twine
For this A2 card I started by making the base of the card with a piece of Neenah Desert Storm paper. I took a piece of Purple paper, inked the edges with Dusty Concord distress oxide and added it to the card base. I took another piece of Neenah Desert Storm paper and the Spellbinders cork stamp and some Black ink and stamped that onto the paper. I used the Vintage Photo distress oxide to ink the edges and added it to the card. I took more Neenah Desert Storm paper and the Cheapo Dies Monkey Barrel die and cut that out. I used some Copic markers to color the pieces and then I pieced the barrel together and inked the edges with Vintage Photo distress oxide and added that to the card. I took a piece of Lavender Shimmer paper and the Spellbinders Cheers die and cut it out twice, layered them on top of each other and added it to the card. I took some Purple and White Bakers Twine and wrapped it around the card a couple of times and tied it into a bow.
