Growing in Unity ~ Day 2

 Hello Unity Stamp Fans,

Here we are at Day 2 of my week of being a Growing in Unity Girl!

Today I have a card to share with you that I made using the butterfly stamp from the February 2021  Kit of the Month stamp set ~ A Beautiful Mindset.  I love butterfly stamps and the minute I saw this one, it spoke to my heart and I joined the Kit of the Month Club right then and there!

Here is my card:

For this card I used the Unity Stamps BRM Lace stamp.  I took some White paper and Versamark and stamped the Lace stamp onto the paper and heat embossed it with Detail Black embossing powder and I added it to the card base.  I took another piece of White paper, Versamark and the Butterflies stamp and stamped that and heat embossed it with the same Detail Black embossing powder and then I cut it down to fit on top of the lace background.  I then took the sentiment from the Trust It Will Be Okay April 2020 Unity Sentiment Kit.  I took some gold and turquoise bakers twine and wrapped that around the left side edge.  I colored the butterflies with several different Copic BG markers and then used some gold paint over the top to give them a little sparkle!  So what do you think??  I love the lace stamp, but I usually use it with White embossing powder, but I thought I would try something a bit different and I love the way it turned out and I hope you do too!!

Make sure to stop by everyday this week to see what I create with my Unity stamps  and if you leave a comment each day here you will be entered for your chance to win a Unity Gift Certificate.  Two prizes will be awarded during my week!

Thanks for stopping by,

Lori

This is such a gorgeous card. Love the lace embossed with black powder and the beautiful butterflies. Great idea to add some sheen with gold.
