Rainbow Butterflies

Hello Blogging Buddies!

Today I have 2 butterfly cards on my blog in honor of Turner Syndrome Girls and Women.  For both of my cards I used the Visible Image Butterfly Ink Stencil

I used Pastel distress oxides for one and Primary distress oxides for the other one.

For this A2 card I made the base of the card with a piece of Peach paper.  I took a piece of Neenah Solar White paper and placed the Visible Image Butterfly Ink stencil onto the paper.  I used my blending brushes and brushed on some Mustard Seed distress oxide,  Worn Lipstick distress oxide and Salty Ocean distress oxide.  I then took Black ink and the Sassy & Crafty Stamps You Are Sentiment Stamp and stamped that onto the paper.   I then cut out the paper with Jaded Blossom Stylized Scallop Rectangle die and added it to the base of the card.

For this A2 card I started with Neenah Solar White paper.  I took the Visible Image Butterfly Ink Stencil and I took Spun Sugar distress oxide, Shaded Lilac distress oxide and Tumbled Glass distress oxide with blending brushes.  I then took the Sassy & Crafty Stamps You Are Sentiment stamp and some VersaFine Clair Monarch ink and stamped the sentiments onto the card.  I then cut the paper out with a Gina Marie Design Rectangle die, inked the edges with Wilted Violet distress ink and then added that to White card base.

I hope you will check out the "It's A Girl Thing" Turner Syndrome Awareness 3rd Annual Blog Hop and Card Challenge!!  There are lots of great prizes to be won!  The link to the hop is at the top of my blog!

Thanks for stopping by!!
