Dies R Us Challenge #163 ~ Anything Goes using any brand of die that DRU sells

 Hello Blogging Friends!!

Today is the 15th of February and that means that a New Challenge starts of the Dies R Us Challenge Blog ~ DRU #163.  The theme is always Anything Goes Using Any Brand of Die that Dies R Us sells.

Here is my card for this challenge:

Ingredients:

White card stock
Patterned papers
Green paper
Cranberry paper
White paper
Sentiment stamp
Black ink
Foam tape
Victorian Velvet distress ink

For this A2 card I started by making the base of the card with White card stock.  I took a piece of Patterned paper, inked the edges with Victorian Velvet distress ink and added that to the base of the card.  I took some White paper and the Memory Box Tulip Trio Frame die and cut out the frames. I took the smaller frame with the tulips and colored the stems with a Green Copic marker.  I took some Green paper and cut out the leaves.  I took some Pink polka dot paper and attached the leaves and the frame to the paper.  I took the Tulip die and some Cranberry paper and cut out the flowers and added them on top of the White tulips.  I took the larger frame die from the die set and some White paper and cut out the larger frame.  I attached that to some patterned paper and then I added some Foam tape to the back and added that to the lower left hand side of the card. I took  the smaller frame with the tulips and placed that on top of the larger frame.  I took some Black ink and the Happy Birthday sentiment and stamped that onto the bottom right corner of the top layer.

Don't forget to check our Sister Store in Canada with warehouses in USA & Canada called Didi Crafts.

I hope you will come and join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

  2. OH what a beautiful card design Lori! I just LOVE tulips and yours are gorgeous! Would you believe mine actually started popping out of the ground about a month ago and of course with last weeks snow and the storms that are coming through over the next few days ... they all got fried!! Ugh. Anyways ... thanks for beautiful springtime inspiration. It helped to lift my spirits today!

  5. What a happy Spring card. Sure could use some Spring like weather here. Love those tulips, they're one of my favourite flowers. Tulips, daisies, lilies and orchids :-) Love the pretty dies you used to create your frames. I need a few of those.
    Stay warm and safe.

  8. A beautiful beautiful card Lori and lovely design, love red tulips and wish I could keep bulbs in the ground but the critters eat them as fast as I plant them, at least I can enjoy them on paper!!
