Hello Blogging Friends!
It's July 15th and that means a new challenge starts today on the Dies R Us Challenge and we are celebrating Christmas in July! So break out your Christmas dies that you have gotten from Dies R Us and join in this challenge! Please be sure to use a brand of metal die that Dies R Us sells.
Here is my card for this challenge:
Ingredients:
Shaded Lilac distress oxide
White card stock
Neenah Solar White paper
Green paper
Red Copic marker
Brown Copic marker
DL.ART Blue Crinkle Ribbon
For this A2 card started by making the card base with White card stock. I took a piece of white paper and the Memory Box Stitched Circle Trees and cut that out. I took a piece of Neenah Solar White paper and the Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Salty Ocean, Shaded Lilac and Black Soot distress oxide and blended the inks together and then spritzed it with water and dried it hoping to get the look of the Northern Lights sky. I took some Green paper and the Memory Box Whispering Pine Landscape die and cut the trees out. I added the Whispering Pine trees to the back of the Stitched Circle Trees and then I added the paper with the distress oxides behind that and added all of that to the card base. I took more White paper and the poppystamps Whittle Snowman and cut that out. I used a brown Copic marker to color the branches on the Snowman and a Red Copic marker to color the cap on the Snowman and added him to the card. I took some Blue Crinkle Ribbon and wrapped it around the card and tied a bow.
