Hello Blogging Friends!!
Today my friends and me have blog hop for Purple Day!
Purple Day is wear purple and host events in support of Epilepsy Awareness.
Please take a moment and read:
Purple Day is a global grassroots event formed with the intention to increase worldwide awareness of epilepsy, and to dispel common myths and fears of this neurological disorder.
Further intentions of this movement are to reduce the social stigma commonly endured by many individuals afflicted with the condition; to provide assurance and advocacy to those living with epilepsy that they are not alone in their ongoing endurance; and to initiate individuals living with the condition to take action in their communities to achieve these aims.
The day occurs annually on March 26.
You can read more about epilepsy here.
It would be nice if you follow each one of the blogs, but it is not necessary to be a winner.
You have from March 26 - 31 to hop around!

Good morning, Lori! Happy Purple Day to you! You made so many cards, and they are all so cute and adorable! I learned a lot about epilepsy during this hop. The point I keep in mind is that during a convulsive seizure you should never hold the person down or put anything in their mouth. Thank you for your generous giveaway! Those stamps are so cute! I'd love to win! Take care, and I hope you are staying safe and healthy!
ReplyDeleteThese are fab Lori and so pleased you are helping spread the word-I appreciate it so much. Adore all of these especially the one for Time Out holding the purple heart-thanks for joining Time Out x

Wow....your cards are just amazing, Lori!! I esp love the butterfly one. They are all beautiful. Thank you so much for being a part of this hop...and offering your generous blog candy. I would love to be in the draw for that...have my eye on that adorable sloth!!! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to be a part of this hop, also, and to be reminded of important things abt someone having a seizure....like noting the time the seizure started. I prob would not remember to think of that!
Hope you are doing well during this virus thing. Stay safe and healthy.

How fabulous that your Purple Blog Hop coincides with our Purple Challenge!! You've made such an incredible array of purple cards, well done. Your puppy couldn't be more adorable and his colouring is gorgeous. Love the background paper and the twine bow is the perfect embellishment. I'm so glad you joined us at TIME OUT and please stay safe. Oh and the sloth stamp in your giveaway is so fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteI love all the purple cards you made, especially purple background dies. Thanks for spreading awareness through the blog hop.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are SO adorable and that puppy one just grabs me! Thanks for sharing your cards and helping pass the word about epilepsy and epilepsy facts. I had a friend in high school who actually passed away from epilepsy and I had no idea that could happen. I learned a lot about epilepsy through this hop, especially not to hold someone down or put anything in their mouth when they are having a seizure. Thank you for the chance to win your giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your beautiful purple cards on the hop, you've been busy! They're all adorable but I especially love the big HUGS sentiment on your bear card, the sweet little pup with his heart, and the artsy butterfly design. The epilepsy fact that stood out for me is not to put anything in the person's mouth when they are having a seizure, contrary to popular belief.
ReplyDeleteGreat variety of purple cards. Love the cute dog.
ReplyDeleteI learned that there are six main types of generalized seizures-- all involve loss of consciousness and typically happen without warning.
