Scrapy Land Challenge #124

Hello Blogging Friends,

Today is the start of a new challenge on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog ~

Scrapy Land Challenge #124

The winner will be chosen by random.org and the Designers will still chose the Top Three and the Honorable Mentions.

Scrapy Land carries over 55 brands of dies, so chances are you have a few of the brands in your stash!  You can see all the brands carried under the Products category.

Please link back to this Scrapy Land Challenge and include the link to this challenge on your blog post.  It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project.  (Sometimes we can't tell if an item is a die cut or chipboard.)

Here is my card:

Ingredients:

Memory Box Cabrini Ornament die (no longer available)
Kraft 6 x 6 card base
Pink paper homemade
Green paper
Homemade paper
Maroon patterned paper
Gold patterned paper
Gold ink
Nuvo Glitter Drops Golden Sunset

For this 6 inch by 6 inch card I started with a Kraft card stock card base.  I took the patterned paper, inked the edges with Gold ink and added that to the card base.  I took some Green paper and the Memory Box Flowering Christmas Tree die and cut out the tree. I adhered the tree to the Gold patterned paper, inked the edges with Gold ink and then placed that onto the homemade paper that I made.  I tore the homemade paper with a deckle ruler and put some foam tape on the back and added that to the card.  I took the Pink homemade paper and cut out the Flowering Christmas Tree again and fussy cut the flowers off and added them to the tree.  I took more of the Pink paper and the Serendipity Believe die and the Cabrini Ornament die (this die is an old die that I got from Scrapy Land a long time ago but you could use the Memory Box Alpine Snowflake die instead) and cut them out and added them to the card.  I took more of the Green paper and ornament die and cut that out and inlaid the holly leaves.

Be sure to hop on over to the Scrapy Land Challenge #124 and see what the Design Team have made to inspire you.

Now it is your turn to create something for this challenge.  You have until November 3rd to join in on the Scrapy Land Challenge fun and have a chance of winning one of two $10 gift certificates to Scrapy Land.

Thanks for stopping by!!
