Black Eyed Susans

Hello Blogging Friends!!

It is my turn today on the Dies R Us Blog and I have this fun Black Eyed Susan card to share with you!   I love seeing Black Eyed Susans in the summer, don't you?

For this A2 card I started by making the base of the card with Neenah Desert Storm paper.  I took a piece of tan paper with faded writing on the back, inked the edges with brown ink and added that to the base of the card.  Next I took some black paper and the Impression Obsession Checkered Frame die and ran that through my Big Shot and added that to the card.  Next I cut out the flowers:

I took some Brown paper, Yellow paper and  Coral paper and the Impression Obsession Black Eyed Susan die and cut out the different pieces of the flower and then assembled them.  I took some Green paper in light green and darker green and cut out the leaves and then I added the leaves and the flowers to the card.

  1. This card is absolutely stunning Lori!! I love the layers of the die cuts! I have black eyed susans every year in my backyard and they always make me so happy! :) They've died off for the season, but I always look forward to their blooms! Thanks for sharing this beauty!
