Lavinia World Challenge #5

Hello Lavinia World Fans!!

Today is the start of a new challenge on the Lavinia World Challenge Blog:

Here are the details for the Lavinia World Challenges ~  We are a brand new challenge featuring Lavinia Stamps and Papers.  We are a bi-weekly Challenge Blog and the the theme will be Anything Goes using stamps (either rubber or clear, but no digi stamps).  You can read the rules here.

Please note that although we carry the full Lavinia range, we are not a part of any other entity or Facebook Group that carries Lavinia stamps. ONLY the cards posted to Lavinia World Challenge will be entered into the drawing for the Lavinia World prize.  Also note that gift certificates are ONLY valid at Lavinia World website:  https://laviniaworldchallenges.blogspot.com/

We prefer that you submission use Lavinia Stamps, but they are not required.  However, if you do use Lavinia stamps in your project, your chance of winning are doubled for each entry!  your name/project will be entered into the calculation for the Designer's Choice Winner twice.  (For example, if three designers choose your project as their favorite, then that project will have a total of six votes!)

The winner of the challenge will be able to proudly display this badge on their blog and will receive a $15 gift certificate to Lavinia World to shop for more goodies.  Lavinia World offers the complete range of Lavinia stamps and papers, which are from the UK.  The store is located in the US and ships worldwide.

Now here is my card for Lavinia World Challenge #5

Ingredients:

SugarCut Stars dies
Lawn Fawn Grassy Hillside die
Neenah Desert Storm paper
Blue Marble paper
Green paper
White glitter paper
Black ink
Versamark
Wow Under the Sea embossing powder
Copic markers
White gel pen
Gold gel pen
Spectrum Noir Sparkle Rose Quartz brush pen
Spectrum Noir Sparkle Cosmos brush pen
Spectrum Noir Sparkle Moonstone brush pen
Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter drops

For this card I made the base of the card with Neenah Desert Storm paper.  I took a piece of Blue Marble paper, some black ink and the Creeping Vine stamp and stamped the vine across the top of the paper.  I colored in the branch with a brown Copic marker.  I then stamped the Chasing Dreams stamp with the black ink and colored in her wings with the Spectrum Noir Rose Quartz brush pen.  I colored the snail in with a Purple and Green marker and filled in some of the lines with a White gel pen.  I used a Gold gel pen pen to color in the fairies hair.  I took some Green paper and the Lawn Fawn Grassy Hillside die and cut out the grass and added that to the paper.  I took the Fairy Orbs stamps and black ink and stamped them around the paper.  I colored in the center of the Fairy Orbs with the 3 different Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.  I took the same markers that I colored the snail with and colored in some of the dots around the edge of the orbs and I also used the White gel pen to fill in some of the dots. I wanted more glitter in the center of the orbs so I used the Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter drops to make the orbs sparkle more.  I took some Versamark and stamped the dragonfly from the Fairy Bugs stamp set onto the paper and then heat embossed it with Wow Under the Sea embossing powder.  I took the White glitter paper and the stars die and the believe die and cut them out and added them to the card.

Now hop on over to the Lavinia World Challenge Blog to see what the wonderful Design Team have created for this challenge!

It just goes to show that some things are tried and true - like fairies riding snails LOL Beautifully done with the hanging vines, and the bright stars lighting up the sky so wonderfully! Fabulous dimension in your orbs, too! big hugs, de
