Hello Crafter's and Fairy Lovers!!
Today is the start of the very first Lavinia World Challenges!!
Here are the details for the Lavinia World Challenges ~ We are a brand new challenge featuring Lavinia Stamps and Papers. We are a bi-weekly Challenge Blog and the the theme will be Anything Goes using stamps (either rubber or clear, but no digi stamps). You can read the rules here.
We prefer that you submission use Lavinia Stamps, but they are not required. However, if you do use Lavinia stamps in your project, your chance of winning are doubled for each entry! your name/project will be entered into the calculation for the Designer's Choice Winner twice. (For example, if three designers choose your project as their favorite, then that project will have a total of six votes!)
The winner of the challenge will be able to proudly display this badge on their blog and will receive a $15 gift certificate to Lavinia World to shop for more goodies. Lavinia World offers the complete range of Lavinia stamps and papers, which are from the UK. The store is located in the US and ships worldwide.
Now here is my card for this 1st Lavinia World Challenge:
Ingredients:
Jodie Lee Nature Garden 6 x 6 paper pad
White card stock
Green paper
Black ink
Mustard Seed distress ink
Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard
Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard
For this A2 card I started with White card stock for the base of the card. I took a piece of paper from the Jodie Lee Nature Garden 6 x 6 paper pad, inked the edges with black ink and added that to the card. I too the Lavinia World Tree Goddess Luna stamp and some black ink and stamped her onto the paper. I took some Mustard Seed distress ink and rubbed some onto the tree branch to make it look like it was glowing and then I rubbed some on the top right to look like the moon. I took some Green paper and the vine die from the Garden Birdhouse die set and cut out the vine and placed it onto the card. Lastly, I took the Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard and applied that to the fairy wings and let it dry.
