Calling All Sistahs May Reminder Post

Hello Sistahs and Bosom Buddies!!

It is the 17th of the month and that means that I am here with the CAS-ual Fridays Encouragement Squad to remind you to do your monthly self breast exam and schedule your mammogram if you haven't had one yet this year!!  Please stop by the Calling All Sistahs May Reminder post to see what the Encouragement Squad have made this month!!

Ingredients:

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Calling All Sistahs stamp set

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Girlfriend stamp set

CAS-ual Fridays Friendly Flowers Fri-dies

CAS-ual Fridays Posies Fri-dies

White card stock

Printed paper

Neenah Solar White paper

Assorted scraps

Black ink

Picked Raspberry distress oxide

Picked Raspberry distress ink

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of printed paper (which I got for Mother's Day!!) inked the edges with Picked Raspberry distress ink and added to the base of the card.  I took a piece of Neenah Solar White paper and stamped the sentiments from the Calling All Sistahs stamp set and the Girlfriend stamp set with black ink.  I then took my blending tool and the Picked Raspberry distress oxide and rubbed that onto the paper and then spritzed it with water and dried it with my heat gun.  I then cut them down, inked the edges with Picked Raspberry distress ink, put some foam tape on the back and put them on the card.  I took some pink and blue paper scraps and the Friendly Flowers Fri-dies and cut out the flowers and placed them on the card.  I took a piece of green print paper and the lead die from the Posies Fri-dies set and cut out the leaves and arranged them on the card.  I just love piecing together several different sentiments to make a fun one for my card!
