Some Snowmen for the Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive

Hello My Crafty Friends,

I am participating in the Card Drive for the children in the Heart Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital.  The Card Drive will run from July 1st to August 25th for Winter Themed cards to be distributed to the children in December.  No Merry Christmas, just Winter Wishes and Holiday Wishes.

I would love it if you would join me in making some cards for this wonderful cause!!

You can find out all the details about the Card Drive and the Important Guidelines for making the cards here

Here is my card:

Ingredients:

Memento Black ink
Copic markers
Watercolor paper
White card stock
Bo Bunny Altitude paper pack
Tumbled Glass distress ink

For this A2 card I started with White card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of Bo Bunny Altitude paper, inked the edges with Tumbled Glass distress ink and then added that to the card base.  I took some watecolor paper, Memento Black ink and the Wild Rose Studio Snowmen stamp and and stamped the snowmen onto the watercolor paper.  I colored the image in with Copic markers and then I cut it out with the Gina Marie Designs Wonky Stitched Rectangle die, inked the edges with Tumbled Glass distress ink and attached it to the card at an angle.  I stamped the Penny Black Snow Fairies sentiment stamp with more of the black ink onto watercolor paper, cut it down and then inked it with Tumbled Glass distress ink and glued it to the card on an angle also.

Please spread the word about this Card Drive and the Blog Hop on August 1st and maybe even get creative too!  There are prizes to be won and there will be a Blog Hop on August 1st.

Please use hashtag #cardsforlittleheartscarddrive when sharing on social media!!

Be sure to stop back on August 1st for the Cards for Little Hearts Blog Hop!!  There will be prizes to win for those that comment on all the blogs!
