Inspired by Stamping and Die-Versions Blog Hop

Hi everyone!

Welcome to the Inspired by Stamping and Die-Versions Blog Hop.  Twenty two talented designers have united to celebrate the new season and shake off the malaise of a snowy winter.  Yay!!!  Inspired by Stamping, which designs and manufactures the highest quality of photopolymer stamps that bring superior stamping to all crafters, has teamed up with Die-Versions, makers of low profile metal dies which works with virtually every machine out there and cuts through most materials, to create this special eye candy of Spring themed projects.

One lucky "hopper" will get a total prize package of $100 in gift certificates, a $50 gift certificate from Inspired by Stamping AND Die-Versions, so you can stock up on some awesome products both of these companies have to offer.

For your chance to win the grand prize, visit all of the participating blogs, leaving a comment at each, then leave a comment telling us what you like the most about Spring at the Inspired by Stamping blog.  All comments entered between now and April 28th at 10pm (Pacific time) will be eligible for the grand prize.

I am so happy to be a part of this Blog Hop!  I had so much fun using the beautiful papers, stamps, lace and flowers from Inspired by Stamping along with all the wonderful dies from Die-Versions.  I have three cards to share with you.  Here is my first card:

For this A2 card I started with tan cardstock.  Next I cut out a 4 inch by 5 1/4 inch piece of tan polka dot paper from the Inspired By Stamping Vintage Floral Paper Pad.  Next I cut out  a piece of brown paper using the Die-Versrions Whispers Quatrefoil Background die I cut it down a bit and added that to the tan polka dot paper and then I took some IBS Scalloped Crochet Trim and wrapped that around the top and bottom of the brown background cut out and then I added all of that to the cardstock base.  Next I stamped the frame stamp from the IBS A Lovely Birthday stamp set in brown ink on some more of the tan polka dot paper.  Then I stamped one of the birhtday senitments from that same stamp set in distressed rose ink in the middle of the stamped frame and then added that to the card.  Next I took some of the IBS pale pink flowers and added them to the top left hand corner of the card.  And now it is already to mail to that special someone for their birthday!!

For my next card:

For this A2 card I started with mauve cardstock for the base.  Then I used the DV Express Edges Mini Memories Phrase and a piece of the IBS Vintage Floral Paper Pad pink polka dot paper and ran it through  my Vagabond, next I cut out a piece of the music strip paper from the same paper pad and placed that on top of the pink polka dot paper.  Next I took some of IBS Scalloped Crochet Trim and added that to the card, then I placed the layered paper on top of the trim.  Then I used the fish tail stamp from the IBS A Lovely Birthday stamp set and stamped that with pink distress ink onto the pink polka dot paper.  Then I stamped the memories stamp from the IBS Arrows stamp set and stamped with the same ink in the center of the fish tail, next I fussy cut that and added that to the card.  I love these sweet stamps!!

My last card:

For this A2 card I started with an off-white cardstock for the base of the card.  Next I used the DV Whispers Quatrefoil Background die and cut it out with mauve paper and placed that on the card base.  Next I cut out a 3 inch square of the IBS Vintage Floral Paper Pad and mounted that on a piece of 3 5/8 inch square of mauve paper and I placed that on top of the background.  Next I stamped one of the frame stamps from the IBS A Lovely Birthday stamp set in distressed pink ink on a piece of the paper from the same pack and then I stamped the love stamp from the Arrow Stamp Set in distressed pink ink also, then I fussy cut it out and mounted it on more of the mauve paper and then I cut out around the frame and added that to the card.

Your next stop on the hop is Mary Mosisan  (add blog link for whoever is after you).  If you ever get lost in the hop, you can always go back to the beginning, Die-Versions blog, for the complete order list.

I hope I have inspired you to create something today!!  I appreciate and read all of your comments!

Thanks for stopping by!
Lori
