Hello Blogging Friends,
Today is July 15th and that means that a new challenge starts over on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog ~ DRU Challenge #197 with a theme of Anything Goes.
I fell in love with this sleeping dragon on the moon the minute I saw it in the Dies R Us store and I just had to get it. This is the first card I made with it but I am sure there will be many more!
Here is my card for DRU Challenge #197:
Ingredients:
Black Soot distress oxide
Speckled Egg distress oxide
White card stock
Watercolor paper
Green metallic paper
Silver shimmer paper
Kuretake Gansai Tambi Starry Pan
For this A2 card I started by making the base of the card with White card stock. I took a piece of Watercolor paper and some Prize Ribbon, Faded Jeans, Salty Ocean, Broken China, Speckled Egsg, Tumbled Glass and Black Soot distress oxide and my blending brushes and blended the colors onto the Watercolor paper. I spritzed the paper with water and then dried it with my heat tool. Then I took the Kuretake Gansai Tambi Starry Pan Silver and some water and my Splatter brush and added some splatters to the paper. I took the Tutti Designs Moon Dragon and Silver paper, Green metallic paper and Silver Shimmer paper and cut out the die in all the different papers. I pieced the Moon Dragon together and added it to the card.
Don't forget to check our Sister Store in Canada with warehouses in USA & Canada called Didi Crafts.
I hope you will come and join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.
