Hello My Halloween Loving Peeps!!
Today is the start of the September Challenge over on the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge!! Making Halloween cards is one of my very favorite cards to make! So get out your stash of Halloween goodies and make a card for this challenge! I DARE you too!!
Here is the Inspiration Board if you need some help getting started!
Remember Anything Halloween Goes!
Here is my card for the September Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge:
Ingredients:
Quickcutz Spider die
Neenah Desert Storm paper
Stripped Halloween paper
Coredinations Black paper
Orange and Black plaid paper
Neenah Solar White paper
Black ink
Red pen
Copic markers
For this A2 card I started by making the base of the card with a piece of Neenah Desert Storm paper. I stamped the Tim Holtz Blueprint Skull Stamp with Black ink onto some Neenah Solar White paper. I shaded the skull with Copic markers and then rubbed on some Antique Linen distress ink. I cut it out with the Kat Scrappiness Distressed Edge Rectangle die, inked the edges with Tea Dye distress ink and then Black ink. I took the next size up Kat Scrappiness Distressed Edge die and the Plaid paper and cut that out, inked the edges with Black ink and I added all of that to a piece of Core'dinations Black paper after sanding it a bit and cutting it out with the next size up die. I added all of that to the Striped Halloween paper, cut it out with the larger die, inked the edges with Black ink and added that to the card base. I then inked the edges of the card base with black ink and added the Happy Halloween sentiment.
I was inspired by all the skeleton heads on the Inspiration Board!
Remember, you can create ANYTHING Halloween you would like and our mood boards are here for your inspiration. You do not have to follow it as the theme but certainly can if you would like!!
Now it is your turn to create something for this challenge. Break out those neglected Halloween stamps, dies, and papers and make a fun or spooky Halloween card!!
Thanks for stopping by!
