Your Courage Inspires Me

 Hello Blogging Friends!!

I made this card with Julie in mind, her courage truly does inspire me!  She has had to have many medical tests done in her life so far and she goes through of all them with such bravery!!

I love the Stampingbella Tiny Townie stamps and the butterfly girls are my favorite!  Probably because butterflies represent Turner Syndrome girls and women.  This Stampingbella Tiny Townie Butterfly Girl Bess was so much fun to color up with Copic markers.  Once she was colored I cut her out with the matching die and I placed her on some pretty Pink gingham paper that I cut out with Memory Box Stitched Circle die.  I took some White paper, Black ink and the Pretty Pink Posh Simple Sayings: Courage stamp set and stamped the sentiment onto the paper.  I cut that out with the Jaded Blossom Stylized Scallop Rectangle die.  I took the Green polka dot paper and cut that out with the Waffle Flower A7 Lacy Rectangle die and I added that to the White card base.  I placed the circle onto the card and I added the sentiment under that.

I hope you will stop by the "It's A Girl Thing" Turner Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop and Card Challenge.  There are 12 Blog stops with each Card Designer offering a prize on their blog to a commenter.  Then there is the Card Challenge where we have 23 Sponsors.  All you have to do to be eligible for prizes is to make a feminine card with an uplifting message, link it back to the "It's A Girl Thing" and write one sentence about something you learned about Turner Syndrome.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Your card is precious, Lori! Thank you for the reminder as I just realized I forgot to make my donation yesterday. I had trouble with this last year since I'm in Canada, so this year I decided to give a phony address to make it look like I'm in the U.S. It's just a small donation but I wanted to contribute. You and your daughter are beautiful people and you're doing a great thing with the hop. I'll be joining the challenge too to help spread the word.
