Memory Box Butterfly Spectacle

 Hello Blogging Friends!!

Today I am sharing 3 cards that I made for the Turner Syndrome Butterflies that I made with the Memory Box Butterfly Spectacle die.

I am entering the first one in the Memory Box Challenge #69 ~ "Pretty Purples"

Here is the first card:

For this A2 card I started by cutting out the Memory Box Butterfly Spectacle die with some White card stock.  I took a piece of Watercolor paper and some distress oxides in Shaded Lilac,  Wilted Violet and Seedless Preserves and smooshed them onto my craft mat.  I spritzed them with water and took a piece of acetate to pick up the inks and press it onto the watercolor paper, spraying with more water and then heat drying until I liked the background.  I then added the Butterfly Spectacle cut out on top of the watercolor paper and then added that to the Purple card base.  I took some Purple gems and added them to the butterflies bodies!  I took one of the distress oxides and stamped the sentiment onto the bottom of the card and then heat embossed it with Clear embossing powder.

Here is my 2nd card:

For this one I blended assorted Distress Oxides onto Watercolor paper and than attached the White butterfly Spectacle onto the front of the watercolored paper.  I took some Black ink and stamped the butterfly kisses onto the card.

And here is my 3rd card:

For this one I used some Graphic 45 paper that I had in my stash and then took some Black ink and stamped the sentiment onto the card.  I also cut out one of the Poppystamps Intricate Butterflies and added that to the butterfly on the left side of the card.  I took some White Pearls and added them to the butterflies bodies.

I hope you will check out the "It's A Girl Thing" Turner Syndrome Awareness 3rd Annual Blog Hop and Card Challenge!!  There are lots of great prizes to be won!  The Card Challenge ends on Sunday, February 28th!

Thanks for stopping by!!
