Hello Blogging Friends!!
Today is the start of a new challenge on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog ~
Scrapy Land Challenge #115
Our theme is always Anything Goes using any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells. We have two winners for every challenge. One winner is a random pick and the other winner is picked by the Design Team. Both winners will each receive a $10 gift certificate to go shopping at the Scrapy Land Store.
Here is my card:
Ingredients:
Die-Versions Tag die (no longer available)
Tim Holtz Alterations Collection 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder ~ Foundry
Gray Coredinations paper
White card stock
Black paper
Copper shimmer paper
Brads
For this A2 card I started with White card stock for the base of the card. I took a piece of Gray Coredinations paper and the Tim Holtz Alterations Collection 3D Texture Fades embossing Folder ~ Foundry and ran that through my Big Shot and then I sanded it down and added that to the card. I took the Cheery Lynn Designs Hearts 'N Gears die (the Hearts 'N Gears dies are not in stock but you could always use one of these gear dies here) and some Copper shimmer paper and cut out the two gear hearts and added them to the card. I took some Black paper and the Tutti Designs Mr. Set and cut out the hat, I added a silver band to the hat and a brad and added that to the card. I took some regular black paper and shiny black paper to cut out the Tutti Designs Mr. Set of eye glasses and the mustache and I layered the shiny black paper on top of the regular black paper and added them to the card. I took some gray paper and the Die-Versions Tag die (no longer available but you could always use one of these tag dies here) and cut out the tag, I used some black ink to stamp Happy Father's Day onto the tag and then I added that to the card and used a Brad to fasten it to the card.
This is so fabulous, Lori!! I love the masculine details you added!! The gear hearts are awesome!! I love the brad you added to the hat, too!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)
