CAS-ual Fridays Challenge ~ CFC#212

Hello Blogging Friends!!

Today is the start of a new Friday Challenge on CAS-ual Fridays Blog.

CFC#212 ~ Sketch

Ingredients:

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Dashing stamp set

White card stock

Glacier paper

Blue paper

Versamark

Silver embossing powder

Faded Jeans distress oxide

Faded Jeans distress ink

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took some Glacier paper and inked the edges with Faded Jeans distress ink and added that to the card.  I took a piece of blue paper, Versamark and the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Dashing stamp set and stamped Snow in the middle of the card with Versamark and heat embossed that with Silver embossing powder.  I took the snowflake stamps from the Dashing stamp set and Versamark and stamped them over and under the word Snow and then heat embossed them with Silver embossing powder.  I took my distressing ruler and distressed the edges of the blue paper.  I took some Faded Jean distress oxide and my blending tool and rubbed some ink over the snowflakes and the word snow and around the paper.  I then took some water and spritzed the paper and let it dry.  Once it was dry I placed that onto the card.
