Fried Chick!



Hello Blogging & Coffee Loving Friends!!


I have one more card to share with you for the Spring and Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop.


Here is my card:



Ingredients:

Striped paper
Neenah Solar White paper
Neenah Desert Storm paper
Black ink
Orange ink
Copic markers
Gina Marie Designs Oval dies

For this A2 card I started with Neenah Desert Storm paper for the base of the card.  I took a piece of striped paper, inked the edges with orange distress ink and added it to the card.  I took a piece of Neenah Solar White paper and printed out the Bugaboo Stamps Fried Chicken digital stamp, I colored it with Copic makers and then cut it out with the Gina Marie Designs Oval die.  I took the sentiment from the Lil' Inker Designs Coffee Cozy stamp set and some black ink and stamped the sentiment onto the oval and then added that to the card.

    This card reminds me of my dad who always drank hot coffee in the midst of summer when everyone else was panting for something cold. He said drinking really hot coffee made the rest of the world feel cooler. lol Great work matching the coloring of the image with the background stripes, Lori!
