DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE #228 ~ BIRTHDAY

Today is the start of a new challenge on the DL.ART CHALLENGE BLOG ~

DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE #228 ~ BIRTHDAY

Now here is my card for this challenge:

Ingredients:

DL.ART Orange Hue Crinkle Ribbon from the Mermaid Tale Third Edition

Reverse Confetti Fancy Flamingos (retired)
Reverse Confetti Stitched Rays Cover Panel Confetti Cuts
Scalloped Oval die

Black ink

White card stock
Neenah Solar White paper
Green CTMH patterned paper
Black ink
Abandoned Coral distress ink
Tattered Rose distress ink
Abandoned Coral distress oxide
Sequins

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of green patterned CTMH paper and the Reverse Confetti Stitched Rays Cover Panel Confetti Cuts die and ran it through my big kick, inked the edges with Tattered Rose distress ink and added that to the card.  I took the Reverse Confetti Fancy Flamingos stamp (retired), Neenah Solar White paper and Abandoned Coral and Tattered Rose distress ink and stamped the flamingo.  I took the scalloped oval and cut out the flamingo.  I took some Abandoned Coral distress oxide and my blending tool and rubbed some around the flamingo and then spritzed it with water and dried it with my heat gun.  I took some Abandoned Coral distress ink and inked the edges of the scallop and then added it to the card.  I took some DL.ART Orange Hue Crinkle Ribbon and glued it down on the left side of the card.  I took some sequins and glued them onto the card.
