Hello Blogging Friends!!
Today is the start of a new challenge on the DL.ART Challenge Blog ~
DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE #225 ~ FLOWERS
Here is my card:
Ingredients:
Kraft card stock
Bo Bunny Green dot paper
Gold paper
White paper
Dark green paper
Mowed Lawn distress ink
For this A2 card I started with Kraft card stock for the base of the card. I then took the the green polka dot paper and the Reverse Confetti Stitched Rays Cover Panel die and ran it through my Big Shot and then inked the edges with Mowed Lawn distress ink. I took some dark green paper and the Penny Black Illuminate die and ran that thru the Big Shot and added that to the green paper. I cut out the top of the flower with white paper and colored in the middle with yellow ink and attached that to the flower. I took the DL.ART St Tropez Crinkle Ribbon form the Tropical Summer Bundle and wrapped that around the card, slipping it under the leaves and then tying it into a bow and then I added it to the card base. I took some gold paper and the Cottage Cutz Wish die and ran that through my Big Shot and then added wish to the top of the card.
Super happy card Lori, I sure do like the color choices. Have blessed day, my friend.

This is so pretty, Lori! I love EVERYTHING about it! I guess we could all do with a little dose of spring, and this is mine for today! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteCool spring card. I love how the flower fits in the background and how you positioned the leaves over the ribbon. Beautiful
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this card, Lori! It looks simple ion design but there is so much going on. That background stitched die is incredible and your flower is marvelous. I always love scrunched ribbon but your choice this time is especially nice. :-D
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card - I love the die cut background - and the wish die cut is fabulous and goes perfectly with your flower! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Jill
