Hello Blogging Friends!!
Today is the start of the month long DL.ART MARCH LINKY CHALLENGE.
Ingredients:
DL.ART Blue Hue Tail crinkle ribbon from the Mermaids Tale 2nd Edition
Hero Arts Reef Border and Frame die
Hero Arts Mermaid Kisses stamp set
White card stock
Watercolor paper
Black ink
Evergreen Bough distress ink
Peacock Feather distress oxide
Broken China distress oxide
Cracked Pistachio distress oxide
Salty Ocean distress oxide
Peeled Paint distress oxide
Faded Jeans distress oxide
Water
For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card. I took a piece of watercolor paper and the distress oxides and I stamped the different color oxides onto my craft mat and then spritzed it with water and then ran the watercolor paper through the colors. I dried it with my heat gun and then spritzed it with more water and let it dry. I took some white paper and the Hero Arts Reef Border and Frame die and cut it out. When the watercolor paper was dry I inked the edges with Evergreen Bough distress ink and added that to the card. I took the Reef Border and Frame die cut and attached that to the card. I took some black ink and the sentiment from the Hero Arts Mermaid Kisses stamp set and stamped the sentiment in the middle of the oval. I took the Blue Hue Tail crinkle ribbon from the Mermaids Tale 2nd Edition bundle, make a bow and attached that to the card with a pop dot.
