Hello Blogging Friends!!
Today is the start of a new challenge at Scrapy Land ~ Scrapy Land Challenge #83 ~ the theme is always ANYTHING GOES using a brand of die that Scrapy Land sells. We have TWO WINNERS for each challenge. One will be a random winner and the other one is chosen by the Design Team. Each winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to Scrapy Land.
Scrapy Land carries over 55 brands of dies, so chances are you have a few of the brands in your stash! You can see all the brands carried under the Products category.
Please link your project back to Scrapy Land Challenge #83 and include a link to the challenge in your blog post. It would aslo be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project. (Sometimes we can't tell if an item is a die cut or chipboard.)
Here is my card:
Ingredients:
Queen & Co Heart Throb Shaker Kit
Impression Obsession Heart Stems die
Die-Versions Curly Words Hugs die
Assorted paper from my stash
Pink fun foam
Pink & White bakers twine
Shaker toppings
Picked Raspberry distress ink
White card stock
For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card. I took the patterned paper, inked the edges with Picked Raspberry distress ink and then added it to the card. Next I took the heart die from the Queen & Co Heart Throb Shaker Kit and cut out the heart with two different papers, the polka dot paper for the top of the shaker and the solid pink for the background of the heart. I attached the solid pink heart to the card, then I put the foam heart from the kit and placed that on top of the pink heart. I filled in the heart with the toppings and then put the clear piece over that to hold the toppings inside the heart. I cut out the Die-Versions Curly Words Hugs die with the pink fun foam and added that under the heart. I cut out Impression Obsession Heart Stems die and tucked them behind the shaker heart. I took the pink & white bakers twine and wrapped that around the card several times and then tied it in a knot.
