Tea Time

Hello Coffee Lovers and Blogging Friends!!

 Today is Day 8 of the Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop 

and

International Tea Day!!

So in honor of International Tea Day I made a Tea card!  So grab a nice cup of tea and hop along with us for the Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop!!

Ingredients:

Close To My Heart Tea-rrific stamp set

Gina Marie Designs Big and Little Pierced Chain Rectangle

White card stock

Green patterned paper

Watercolor paper

Black ink

Copic markers

Bakers Twine

For this A2 card I started with White card stock for the base of the card.  I took the green patterned paper, inked the edges with Bundled Sage distress ink and added it to the card.  I took some black ink and the teacups stamp from the Close To My Heart Tea-rrific stamp set and stamped it onto some watercolor paper.  Then I colored in the teacups with Copic markers, cut that out with the Gina Marie Designs Big and Little Pierced Chain rectangle die and added that to the card..  I stamped the sentiment onto some white paper with black ink and then cut that out with a smaller rectangle die and added that to the card.  I stamped the tag to the tea bag with black ink, colored it in with Copic markers and then fussy cut it out and attached it to the top cup with bakers twine.
