DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE #219 ~ NEW YEAR

Hello Blogging Friends!!

Can you believe that 2017 is almost over??  This year really seemed to fly by!!  I sure hope 2018 doesn't go by quite so fast!!

Today is the start of the DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE #219 ~ NEW YEAR!!

Here is my card:

Ingredients:

DL.ART Intimate Bundle Black Lace and Crinkle Ribbon
Quickutz Snow Angel Font

Quickutz Balloons die

Die-Versions Crowd Border die (no longer available)

Die-Versions Wordlet Happy die

Assorted paper

Black ink
Gold pen

For this 6 by 6 inch card I started with the purple patterned paper.  I inked the edges of the paper with black ink.  I cut out the Quickutz Balloons with Black Glitter paper, I cut out the numbers with Gold glitter paper using the  Quickutz Snow Angel font and added them to the balloons.  I cut out the Die-Versions Wordlet Happy with the Gold glitter paper and added that to the balloon.  I used the Die-Versions Crowd Border die and cut out some more Black glitter paper and added that to the bottom of the card. The I took the DL.ART Intimate Bundle and glue the Black Lace to the top of the card.  I took some of the crinkle ribbon from the DL.ART Intimate bundle and made it into a bow and attached it to the top center of the card.  I used my gold pen to draw the strings hanging down from the balloons, but they are hard to see in the picture.
