Hello Blogging Friends,
I am happy to announce that I am now a Design Team Member of the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Design Team!! I absolutely LOVE all critters ~ great and small ~ so I think this is a perfect match for me!
This is the 9th Challenge for 2 Crafty Critter Crazies
Our sponsor for December is:
Sasayaki Glitter
For this challenge I choose the Tea Mouse digital image to make my cards:
For the December Challenge I made two cards. I wanted to show you that this adorable mouse could be used for Christmas or for a Birthday or even a Just Because card!!
Here is my first card:
I printed out the Tea Mouse onto white paper and then I colored in the image with Copic markers. I then cut it out with the Gina Marie Designs Big and Little Pierced Chain Hexagon dies and inked the edges with red ink and put it on the side. I took some white card stock to make the base of this A2 card. I took the green and red striped paper, inked the edges with red ink and added that to the card base. I added the hexagon with the Team Mouse digi image to the center of the card. I took some DL.ART Christmas Red crinkle ribbon from the Traditional Christmas Bundle and made a bow and attached that to the top left hand side of the card.
Here is my second card:
For this A2 card I printed out Tea Mouse digi stamp, colored it in with Copic markers and then fussy cut it out. I started with a white card stock for the base of the card. I took a piece of patterned paper, inked the edges with lavender ink and then attached it to the base of the card. I cut out some white paper with the Prima doily die, cut it in half and attached that to the card. I attached the fussy cut Tea Mouse on top of the doily, then I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment with black ink onto the card. I added some sequins and gem dots to the card. I took some purple and white bakers twine and wrapped it around the card several times and then tied a knot in the twine.
These are both so sweet, Lori!! The image is absolutely adorable!! I love how you colored each one!! Have a great weekend!! Big hugs :)

ReplyDeleteSo so SOOOOO cute, Lori! I love both cards, but I must say that the Christmas colors in your first creation are beyond darling! You have just the right amount of the traditional colors, and lots of that amazing white to bring them to life! I LOVE THIS CARD. Actually, your card is the one that inspired me to do hot chocolate. LOL hugs, de
