Penguin Hugs

Hello Blogging Friends,

I am getting an early start on my cards for the Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive that will start in January 2018.  It runs from January 1st to February 1st and the them is Heart~themed "Thinking of You" cards.  You can read all the guidelines for the cards here.

Ingredients:

Whimsy Stamps Penguin Chocolate Surprise stamp

My Favorite Things Stamps Lots of Hugs stamp set 

Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Mats Rectangle die

White card stock

Watercolor paper

Assorted paper from my stash

Black ink

Copic markers

Picked Raspberry distress ink

For this A2 card I started with White card stock for the base of the card.  I took the polka dot paper, inked the edges with Picked Raspberry distress ink and then attached it to the base.  I took some Watercolor paper, black ink and the Whimsy Stamps Penguin and stamped that onto the paper.  I took my Copic markers and colored in the image and then cut it out with the Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Mats Rectangle die.  I added that to the black polka dot paper and then attached that to the card.  I took the sentiment from the My Favorite Things Stamps Lots of Hugs stamp set and stamped that with black ink onto some white paper and then inked the edges with Picked Raspberry distress ink and added that to the card.
