Scrapy Land Challenge #54

Hello Blogging Friends,

Today is the start of a new challenge on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog:

Scrapy Land Challenge #54

the theme for this challenge is:

Give Thanks plus use any brand of low profile or steel ruled die Scrapy Land sells.

Scrapy Land carries over 50 brands of dies in their store.  You can see them all here.   Please link your project back to this Scrapy Land Challenge Blog. It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project.

Here is my card for this challenge:

Ingredients:

Prima Dies ~ Forest Leaves
Sugar Pea Designs Bountiful Blessings stamp set
Burnt Copper Leaves embossing powder
Versamark
Distress ink
Various paper from my stash

For this A2 card I started with a pied of Kraft card stock for the base of the card.  I added the dotted paper and then I took my Avery Elle Elle-ments Custom Panels die and cut out the patterned paper, inked the edges with brown ink and added that to the card.  Next I took some watercolor paper and and my craft mat and swiped some different color distress inks on the mat, spritzed it with water and then ran my paper through it and added some chunky salt to the top.  When the paper was all dry I wiped the salt off and then took my Prima Forest Leaves dies and cut out the leaves and I placed three of them on the card.  Lastly I took the "give thanks" sentiment from the Sugar Pea Designs Bountiful Blessings stamp set and stamped it on the card with Versamark and then I heat embossed it with Burnt Copper Leaves embossing powder.  I really love the way the leaves turned out with the distress inks, water and salt!  It is a fun technique to try.

Be sure to stop by the Scrapy Land Blog to see all the lovely creations that the Desigm Team have made for this challenge.

Now it is your turn to create something for this challenge!

Please remember:
~ include one or more die brands that Scrapy Land sells
~ follow the theme
~ include a link to the Scrapy Land Challenge in your post.
~ It would be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project as well.
~ Please limit the number of entries to five.

The challenge closes on Sunday, December 4th and the winner will receive a $15 Gift Certificate to the Scrapy Land store.

Thanks for stopping by!
