DL.ART February Linky Challenge ~ Anything Goes

Hello Blogging Buddies,

I am happy to tell you that today is my first post as a part of the DL.ART Design Team!!  I am very happy and pleased to be a part of this wonderful group of very talented ladies!

Since today is the first day of the month ~ that means a new "Anything Goes" monthly challenge at DL.ART.  Here is my card for the DL.ART February Linky Challenge.

Ingredients:

Quickutz Nesting Doily Hearts
Impression Obsession Key to My Heart stamp set
DL.ART Mermaid's Tale Third Edition Orange/Green Hue ribbon
Funkie Junkie Boutique Valentine Embellishments Key charm
Paper from my stash
Pear green ink

For this A2 card I started with kraft paper for the base of the card.  Next I took a piece of patterned paper, inked the edges with Pear green ink and added that to the base of the card.  Next I took some peach color paper and cut it out with the Quickutz Nesting Doily Heart die, inked the edges with Pear green ink.  Then I took some black ink and stamped the Impression Obsession sentiment onto the heart with black ink and then added it to the card.  Next I took some DL.ART Mermaid's Tale Third Editon Orange/Green Hue ribbon and made a bow and I added the Funkie Junkie Boutique Valentine Embellishments Key charm to the bow onto the card.  I inked the edges of the kraft base with Pear green ink too.  I wanted to make a Valentine with different colors then the typical red and pink.  I love the way this peach and green Valentine turned out!  I hope you like it too!

Now it is your turn!  Head on over to DL.ART to see the awesome creations that my Design Team Mates have created for this February Challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!!
Lori
