Let it Snow

Hello Blogging Buddies,

Well today is the 8th day and also the last day of the 2015 Winter/Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  It will be sad not to run to my computer first thing tomorrow morning to see how many more new cards and projects have been added, but I really need to get a bunch of stuff done before Christmas arrives, so it is all good.  Here is my card for Day 8 of the 2015 Winter/Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

Ingredients:

My Craft Spot Christmas Chalkboard stamps
Assorted Paper Scraps
Bakers Twine
White Sparkle Paper
Christmas Tree Charm
Peeled Paint Distress Ink

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card. Then I took  a piece of the MME Merry Little Christmas Paper, inked the edges with Peeled Paint distress ink and added that to the base.  Next I cut out the Cottage Cutz Small Tea Cup with another piece of paper from the same pack.  Next I cut out the white sparkle paper with an old Quickutz die to make the whipped cream and placed the cup with the whipped cream on the card.  Next I took the Let it Snow stamp from the My Craft Spot Christmas Chalkboard stamp set and stamped it with the Peeled Paint distress ink onto a leftover piece of paper.  I then cut it out with another die that I have, inked the edges with Peeled Paint distress ink and then added that to the card.  Lastly I wrapped the green & white, and the pink & white bakers twine around the card a couple of times and then I tied the Christmas Tree charm onto the bakers twine!  The twine reminds me of peppermint sticks!

I have really enjoyed the 2015 Winter/Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I hope you have either participated along with us or at least look through all the entries!

Thanks for stopping by!
Lori
