Scrapy Land Challenge #24

Hello Friends,

Well today is the third Wednesday of August and you know that means that it is the start of another bi-monthly challenge at Scrapy Land.  This Challenge will run from Wednesday, August 19th to Sunday, August 30th.  Please be sure to check out the other SL Design Team members blogs for  more inspiration.  The winner will win $15 Gift Certificate to the Scrapy Land on-line store.

The Theme of Challenge #24 is:  Pockets/Tags (create a pocket and/or add a tag) PLUS use any SL die brands.

Scrapy Land has over 40 brands of dies.  You can see them all here.  Please link your project back to the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog.  Also it would be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your projects!

Here is my card for Challenge #24:

For my card I started with some kraft paper and added some Bo Bunny paper to the kraft base after I inked the edges with some red ink.  Next I cut out this tag from the Bo Bunny paper pack and then I cut out the Memory Box Pinecone Corner die in green paper and brown paper. I fussy cut out the pinecones and distressed them a sandpaper block, inked the edges with black ink and placed them on top of the green pinecones and added that to the tag.  Next I tied the ribbon togehter with a small peice of Sparkle N Sprinkle Ivory Pearl String and added that to the tag.  I really love the way this turned out and now I have a Christmas card ready!
