Today I am going to share with you a wintery card I made for Pattie's Creations Design Challenge 100 ~ Vintage. One of the rules is you have to use a digital image from Pattie's Creations Digital Images on Etsy, so I choose the Vintage Ice Skate image for my card. I just love the look of these skates with those swirls on them!!
For this A2 card I started with kraft cardstock and inked the edges in Desert Sand ink, then I added the snowflake paper after inking the edges with the same ink. Then I printed out two of the ice skate images and colored them in with Copic markers. I colored the laces in with a Sky Blue Spica pen, and I used a Gelly Roll glitter pen to accent the black swirls on the skates. I used some Sparkle N Sprinkle Cloud Nine glitter on the tops of the skates and the holly. After that dried I stamped both skates with VersaMark and then put some clear embossing powder on them and then heat embossed them. I used some We R Memory Keepers Seweasy Mermaid fancy floss to hang the skates from the top of the card. Next I cut out some snowflakes using some white sparkly paper and attached them on the skates and card. So do you think these skates look Vintage??
