Lavinia World Challenge #20

Hello Lavinia World Friends!!

Today is the start of a new challenge on the Lavinia World Challenge Blog:

Lavinia World Challenge #20

Ingredients:

Spiral of Spells stamp

Chasing Dreams stamp

Fairy Bugs stamps

White card stock

White paper with purple speckles

Vellum paper

VersaFine Clair Purple Delight ink

Black ink

Clear embossing powder

Light Prawn Copic

Crystal Stickles

For this A2 card I started with White card stock to make the the base of the card.  I took a piece of White paper with purple speckles, inked the edges with VersaFine Clair Purple Delight ink and attached that to the card base.  I took the Spiral of Spells stamp and the VersaFine Clair Purple Delight ink and stamped that onto another piece of White paper with purple speckles.  I sprinkled some Clear embossing powder on the paper and then heat embossed it.  I took a piece of Vellum paper, the Chasing Dreams stamp and some Black ink and stamped that onto the Vellum.  I heat embossed that with Clear embossing powder.  I took my Light Prawn Copic marker and colored the snail on the back side of the Vellum paper.  I took some Crystal Stickles and put them on the fairy's wings and on the snail.  When the Stickles were dry I fussy cut out the fairy and snail, ran it through my Xyron machine and placed that in the center of the Sprial Spells.  I took the stars from the Fairy Bugs stamp set, VersaFine Clair Purple Delight ink and then heat embossed it with Clear embossing powder.

The theme for Lavinia World Challenges is always "Anything Goes" using a stamped image (sorry no digi stamps, but rather rubber or clear stamps are perfect).  The winner will receive a $15 Gift Certificate to Lavinia World.

Turner Syndrome Awareness ~ You Are Beautiful

Here is a card I made using Sponsor Lavinia World stamps to make!!

Ingredients:

Lavinia World Moments Like These stamp

Lavinia World Forest Spruce stamp

Lavinia World Snow Shrub stamp

Watercolor paper

White card stock

Black ink

Spiced Marmalade distress oxide

Squeezed Lemonade distress oxide

Bundled Sage distress oxide

Salty Ocean distress oxide

Faded Jeans distress oxide

Wilted Violet oxide

Sentiment stamp

Green gems

For this A2 card I started by making the base of the card with White card stock.  I took a piece of Watercolor paper, the distress oxides and my blending brushes and added the different colors onto the paper, overlapping them as I went along.  I took some Black ink and the Moments Like Theses, Forest Spruce, Snow Shrub stamps and stamped them onto the paper.  I took some Black ink and inked around the edges and added it to the card base and I stamped the sentiment with Black ink. I took some Green gems and placed them onto the card.

Ingredients:

Druids Inn stamp

Let Your Spirit Take Flight stamp

Fairy Foragers stamps

Ken Oliver Color Bursts

Neenah Desert Storm paper

Watercolor paper

Black ink 

For this A2 card I started by making the base of the card with a piece of Neenah Desert Storm paper.  I took a piece of Watercolor paper and wet it down with my spritz bottle and then I took some Ken Oliver Color Bursts and sprinkled them on top of the wet paper and then dried it with my heat gun.  I spritzed more water onto the paper until I got the colors I wanted.  I took some Black ink and the Druid Inn stamp and stamped that onto the paper.  I stamped the Fairy Foragers and the Let Your Spirit Take Flight stamps onto the paper too and then I attached that to the card base.

Tutti Designs Maple Vine Frame

White card stock

Watercolor paper

Neenah Solar White paper

Frayed Burlap distress ink

Black Soot distress ink

Broken China distress ink

Shabby Shutters distress ink

Tumbled Glass distress ink

Bundled Sage distress ink

Black ink

Sheer Shimmer

For this A2 card I started with White card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of Neenah Solar White paper and the distress inks and my blending brushes and blended the inks onto the paper.  I spritzed it with water and dried it with my heat tool.  I then took some Black ink and the Flower Fairy stamp and stamped her onto the paper.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Brave and Beloved stamp and added the paper to the card base.  I took a piece of watercolor paper and the Tutti Designs Maple Vine Frame die and cut out the frame and added that on top of the card.  I then took some gems and added them to the flowers.  I took some Sheer Shimmer onto the card.
