Growing In Unity Week ~ Day 1

I am happy to be the Growing In Unity Girl for this week! I am so excited to share with you some of my favorite Unity stamps this week. I have to say that Unity Stamp Company is one of my favorite stamp companies! When I am looking for something specific, Unity always has a couple of choices for me to pick from!
For my card for Day 1 of GIU I used the super sweet Everyday Wonderful Owls stamp, I think it makes a perfect Valentine's Day card for your sweetie!
I stamped the Everyday Wonderful Owls stamp with Black ink onto some watercolor paper. I colored it in with Copic markers and then fussy cut it out. I took another piece of watercolor paper and some distress inks and applied the inks with my blending brushes and then spritzed some water on it to make the night sky and I added it to the card base. I took some pop dots and popped up the moon on the card. I took some Versamark and stamped the sentiment from the stamp set and heat embossed it with Silver embossing powder.

ReplyDeleteOoooh, love how your night sky came out! And since I'm a bird nerd, I simply adore your sweet owls. Hubby & I were just looking at a ton of photos on FB of birds of all kinds & places and I never knew there are soooooo many species of owls!!
