Warm Winter Wishes

Hello Blogging Friends,

It is my turn today on the Dies R Us Blog  and I am sharing this winter scene card.

I just love that Poppystamps Whittle Snowman die, but I just had to add a face and buttons to him!  Now he looks happy to me!  Here are the materials I used to make this card.

I took some old Creative Memories paper that I had hanging around, a piece of Neenah Solar White paper and the Memory Box Stitched Circle Trees die and the Poppystamps Whittle Snoman die and cut them out.  For my card I made an A2 size card with some Neenah Solar White card stock.  I added some of the patchwork paper onto the white card.  I took a piece of white paper and taped the Memory Box Stitched Circle Trees die onto the center of the paper and then ran it through my Big Shot.  I took the Ice Blue paper and added that to the back of the panel and then added that to the card.  I cut out the Poppystamps Whittle Snowman and used a brown marker to color his tree branch arms and a black marker to draw his face and buttons and then added him to the card.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark onto some spare white paper and then heat embossed it with Ocean embossing powder. I cut that down to banner size and fish tail cut the ends with my scissors and then inked the edges with Faded Jeans distress ink.  I put some foam on the back of the banner and added that to the card.

  3. Fantastic scene design with those dies. A snow scene at this time of year is so appropriate especially in our snowy area where we live.
