Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive

**This is one of 2 posts that I have today, if you are looking for the Joy Clair July Challenge please go here.**

Hello Blogging and Card Making Friends,

Today is the start of the Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive (formerly known as Hug a Heart) that runs form July 1st thru August 25th.  The purpose of this card drive is to collect handmade cards for the Heart Center staff at Nationwide Children's Hospital to distribute to children with congenital heart disease and to help lift their spirits while they are hospitalized for major heart surgery or having a particularly tough time.

You can read all the details, card guidelines and wonderful prizes you could win here on Christina Hor's Blog.

There will also be a Little Hearts Card Drive and Blog Hop on August 1st at 8:00 am EST with 10 Card Designers so you won't want to miss it!!

We are looking for Winter/Holiday cards for the Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive.

Here is my first card for this card drive:

Ingredients:

Copic markers
Paper from my stash
Kraft card stock

For this A2 card I started by coloring one of the Adorn It Christmas Paintables squares and then I added it to the blue paper and the blue paper to Kraft card stock base.  This was a real quick and easy card to make, but one that I am sure any child will love to receive!

I will be making more cards during the Little Hearts Card Drive and I will share some with you when I can.

Be sure to stop back here on August 1st at 8:00 am EST for the Little Hearts Card Drive Blog Hop!!

In the meantime I am asking all my Card Making Freinds to make sure you read all the guidelines for making card and let's get busy creating!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Lori
