Hello Blogging Friends,
Well today is the start of the Calling All Sistahs Encouragement Challenge!! Here is a picture to help inspire you to create something for this challenge:
Here is my card for this challenge:
Ingredients:
Black ink
Broken China distress oxide
Worn Lipstick distress oxide
Wilted Violet distress oxide
Peeled Paint distress oxide
Green printed paper
Nuvo Gold enamel drops
Kraft cardstock
Watercolor paper
Bundled Sage distress ink
For this A2 card I started with Kraft card stock for the base of the card, I took a piece of green patterned paper, inked the edges with Bundled Sage distress ink and then attached it to the card base. I rubbed the different distress oxides onto my craft mat and spritzed them with water and then took my watercolor paper and ran it through the ink several times until it was completely covered. I spritzed some more water on it and let it dry. Once it was all dry I stamped the Pretty Posies onto the watercolor paper with black ink and then cut them out using the Posies Fri-Dies. I arranged the flowers onto the card and then put some Nuvo Gold enamel drops in the centers of the flowers and let that dry. Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Be stamp set with black ink onto the card.
