Joy Clair October Challenge

Hello Blogging Buddies,

Today it is October 1st and that means a new challenge on the Joy Clair Blog!

Here is the Inspiration Picture for you:

Here is my card for this challenge:

I used the new Give Thanks stamp set for this A2 card.  I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark onto white paper and then heat embossed it with Clear embossing powder.  I then cut it out using the Inspired by Stamping Fancy Label Dies 2 and then I colored it with Tattered Rose distress ink and inked the edges with Tea Dye distress ink.  I cut out a piece of patterned paper with the next size up die, inked the edges with Tea Dye distress ink and then placed that under the smaller piece.  I took a piece of patterned paper and attached that to some white card stock for and then I added the   Thank you for sentiment.  Next I cut out another piece of white paper the Inspired by Stamping Fancy Label Die 3 and inky the Love sentiment from the Give Thanks stamp set with VersaMark onto the cut out and then heat embossed with Clear embossing powder and then inked it with Tattered Rose distress ink and the edges with Tea dye distress ink.

  2. Hi, Lori! Lovely card. I have not considered using white EP like that for a very long time, and your sentiments look beautiful popped with the white against the pretty inked CS. I covet your pattern paper, Lori - WONDERFULLY RICH colors, and fabulous design with those leaves. very very VERY pretty! It's a great card. hugs, de
