Coffin Break

Hello Blogging Buddies,

It is my turn on the Die-Version Blog so I thought I would share my post here too!

Happy Halloween to you!  I am here to share with you a Spooky card.....so beware!!

Here is the front of my card:

And here is the inside of my card:

Ingredients:

Wood grain embossing folder
Black ink
Various papers from my stash

For this coffin shaped card I asked my husband to help make the shape!  I really love the way it turned out!  After taking an A2 white card and cutting it down to look like a coffin I took some brown Core'dinations paper and ran it through my Vagabond with the wood grain embossing folder, I sanded it down a bit, inked it up with some black ink and attached it to the card front.  Then I cut out the RIP letters with the Die-Versions "Dem Bones" Font, I love this font for Halloween cards!  I attached the RIP letters to the front of the card.  On the inside of the card on the left side I stamped the sentiment and the spiders and skulls from the Joy Clair Spooky Greetings stamp set with black ink.  On the right side I covered the back with some Halloween scrap paper and then I took some white paper and cut out the Die-Versions Whispers Skeleton die and inked it a bit with black in and then added it to the card!  I love the way this card turned out!  Now I just have to figure out who to send it to!!

Don't forget when you go shopping at Die-Versions to use the discount code lori15 for 15% off your purchase.  This can not be combined with any other sales or promotions.

Wishing you all a safe & fun Happy Halloween!!
