Hello Sistahs!!
Today is the start of a new Calling All Sistahs Blog Hop!! I am honored to be participating in the Calling all Sistahs Blog Hop!! Breast Cancer has touched so many lives and several very special women in my life! The first person to be touched by Breast Cancer was my sister-in-law 24 years ago and I am happy to say that she is still here with us today. The next one was an Aunt of mine and then a close friend who is the Sistah that God forgot to give me and I am so very thankful that she is still here today! That is why it is so important to check yourself by doing a monthly breast self-exam and yearly mammograms!!
CAS-UAL FRIDAY's has their own line of stamps and dies mainly for Breast Cancer cards and it is called Calling All Sistahs and 50% of the profits from the sales of the Calling All Sistahs line goes to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. for research and medical help.
You should have gotten here from Lisa Lahiff Blog.
Here is my card for the Calling All Sistahs Blog Hop:
Ingredients:
VersaMark
Black embossing powder
White embossing powder
White Mulberry paper
Pink ombre paper
White card stock
Spun Sugar distress ink
For my A2 card I started with white card stock and I added the pink ombre paper after inking the edges with Spun Sugar distress ink. I stamped the Casual Friday Hope Ribbon stamp with VersaMark onto pink paper and heat embossed it with White embossing powder and then I cut it out with the Casual Friday Ruffled Ribbon die. I then placed the ribbon on some white mulberry paper and then attached it to the card. Next I took the Casual Friday Calling All Sistahs stamps and stamped them with VersaMark onto the card and heat embossed them with black embossing powder.
If you should get lost along the way please go back to the CAS-ual Fridays Calling All Sistahs Blog Hop.
The next stop on the Calling All Sistahs Blog Hop is:
**There will be a $15 Gift Certificate given to 3 people that comment along the hop.** Comments close on July 19th at midnight EST.
So remember we have all come together for this blog hop to encourage our Sistahs to do their monthly breast self-exams and yearly mammograms!!
