Hello Blogging Buddies,
Today is the start of a new Challenge at the Unicorn Challenge Blog. The theme for this month is "Inspired by a Nursery Rhyme/Fariy Tale/Children's Story"
This means you should base your creation based on one of the above. Please put a note to let us know which Nursery Rhyme or Fairy Tale has inspired you.
I used the Fairy Tale "Cinderella" for my inspiration and here is my card:
Ingredients:
Quickutz Clock
Versamark
Gold Ink
White Glitter Embossing Powder
Mrs. Grossman silver star stickers
Once Upon A Time stamp
Midnight Blue shimmer paper
I had so much fun making this card. I cut out the clock with black paper and then mounted it on white paper and fussy cut around the edge. Next I cut out the Cottage Cutz Horse & Carriage die with white paper and I took some gold ink and rubbed that over the carriage and horse. I started with some blue card stock for the base of this 5" by 7" card. I then added some of the Midnight Night Blue shimmer paper to the base. I put the clock on the base of the card and added the horse and carriage next. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and used some white glitter embossing powder and then heat set it. I took some Mrs. Grossman's silver star stickers and placed them randomly in the night sky. So how do you think it looks? Can't you just imagine Cinderella running as fast as she can to get back home on time!
You have until June 30th to play along with us and submit your entries.
Be sure to check out all of the Design Team creations on the Unicorn Challenge Blog!
I hope I have inspired you to create something fun today!
