Scrapy Land Challenge #36 ~ Tie One On

Hello Blogging Buddies,

Today is the start of a new bi-monthly challenge at the Scrapy Land Challenges Blog.

The theme of this challenge is

Tie One On (include a bow ~ die cut or ribbon) PLUS use any brand of low profile or steel ruled dies that Scrapy Land Sells.

Scrapy Land has over 40 brands of dies.  You can see them all here.  Please be sure to link your project back to the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog.

Here is my card for Scrapy Land Challenge #36 ~ Tie One On:

Ingredients:

Quickutz Lifestyle Nesting Scalloped Hearts

Sizzix Thinlets  Happy Birthday to You die

Heartfelt Creations Spellbinders Decorative  Butterfly Border dies

DL.ART  Mermaid Tale Second Edition Ribbon

Various papers from my stash

For this card I started with some shiny blue paper for the base of the card.  Next I die cut the Quickutz Nesting Scalloped heart die out of the floral paper and I inked the edges with blue ink and added that to the card.  Then I cut out the Sizzix Thinlets Happy Birthday to You die in blue paper and added that to the heart.  I cut out the Heartfelt Creations corner dies with white paper and added them to the bottom corners of the card.  Then I took the DL.ART Mermaids Tale Second Edition ribbon wrapped it around the top of the card and then made a bow.
